I’m an illustrator who approaches visual storytelling by combining different mediums. This has led me to create tactile work reminiscent of my printmaking glory days. Originally from the Bronx, I hopped on the 1 train, and transferred to the A C through the underwater tunnel into Brooklyn where I graduated from Pratt Institute in 2014. My home and studio are now primarily based in Philadelphia, where I continue to be guided by curiosity. I gather inspiration through the feeling of nostalgia, a summer day with my family, and playful interactions in nature. Movement is foundational to my process. By way of dancing, biking around cities, or falling down trying something new, I find connections between community and the art that I make.
Let’s collaborate together.
I deeply enjoy my work in book publishing. It is my goal to spark conversation with children and adults alike.
I have contributed to magazine editorials both online and in print, worked with design teams on national museum exhibits for The Smithsonian Institution which featured my mural-sized illustrations, and created event posters and portraits to promote social awareness and foster a sense of community.
